Have Peace of Mind when hitting the Open roads.

What’s your motorcycle passion? Maybe it’s a weekend warrior who cruises up the coast on sunny afternoons. Or perhaps you use bikes for navigating traffic-clogged commutes or take them out into new open road territory exploring landscapes across state lines in search of adventure!

Buying a motorcycle is easy, but as you would with car insurance, you need to find affordable motorcycle insurance coverage with the right amount of coverage to keep yourself protected on the road. If you own a motorcycle, getting motorcycle insurance quotes online should be something you do at least once every few years because rates can change very quickly for this type of vehicle.

How does motorcycle insurance work?

Motorcycle insurance is a unique type of auto policy, but it follows many similar coverage options. There are required liability coverages that protect you if you cause damages or injuries to others in an accident; However, there might also come into play things like collision and comprehensive coverage! Protection for accessories or custom parts you have added, and even coverage to help provide towing and flat tire roadside assistance.

Some states also require drivers to carry uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. This coverage pays out for injuries resulting from an accident caused by an uninsured driver or who doesn’t have enough insurance.

You’ll want enough protection for yourself AND those around them when riding because accidents happen – no matter how careful everyone tries to be!!!

What does motorcycle insurance cover?

Most states require motorcycle owners to buy liability insurance. The lowest amount of liability insurance you must buy for your motorcycle is the same as your state’s car insurance minimum requirements.

The risks of riding a motorcycle are unique; consider buying additional liability beyond your state’s minimum requirements to protect your assets if you’re sued over a claim.

Texas doesn’t require drivers to carry uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. It will pay you out for injuries resulting from an accident caused by an uninsured driver or who doesn’t have enough insurance.

Your risk agent can help you be prepared for them. We understand the dangers of riding; We will offer customizable motorcycle insurance coverages that will protect:

Bodily Injury Liability Coverage

Bodily injury is a must-have for any motorcyclist. This type of insurance protects you; it pays out for others’ injuries or damages while you’re operating your bike and provides legal defense if another party files suit against you after an accident occurs! Choosing the proper limit can save time, money, or both when dealing with lawyers down the road.

Property Damage Liability Coverage

Property Damage is necessary for any biker who operates their motorcycle in a dense city like Austin. This coverage protects you from certain damages caused to someone else’s property while driving your bike.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage

Uninsured/ Underinsured will pay for your medical bills if you are injured in a car accident and the driver of the other vehicle does not have insurance, or their policy doesn’t cover what’s needed. Your insurance company will always have your back.

Collision Coverage Options

With collision, you’re protected against damage to your motorcycle. When your bike gets damaged hitting another vehicle, your insurance company will always pay to fix or replace your bike how it was before the incident.

Comprehensive Physical Damage

You may have heard the term “physical damage,” but what does it mean? Covered losses resulting from incidents other than collisions, such as theft or fire. Your insurance company will always pay to fix or replace your bike how it was before the incident.

Medical Payments, No-Fault, Or Personal Injury Protection.

Medical payments, no-fault or personal injury protection coverage provide you and your passengers with medical payments in an accident. PIP is the only one that will cover wages and other costs for up to three years when added to your motorcycle policy.

Accessories Coverage

Accessories protect the little things that make you a rider. You’ll need to carry comprehensive and collision on your motorcycle policy to add this endorsement. Accessories may include saddlebags, backrests, seat chrome pieces (and CB radios).

If the allure of owning a motorcycle is due to adding tons of chrome parts, and your personal touch goes over $3000 we can add additional endorsement up to $30,000.

Is my helmet covered while I ride?

Yes, You can add comprehensive and collision insurance coverage if your motorcycle gets damaged or stolen as the result of a covered claim. This includes your helmet, jackets, and boots; if it’s, we’ll pay to replace it minus your deductible.

Does motorcycle insurance cover passengers?

If your passenger is hurt in a bike accident, passenger liability insurance coverage can pay for their injuries up to your policy’s limits. Guest passenger liability is either part of your bodily injury liability coverages or added as endorsement coverage. Keep in mind that if the other motorist is at fault, their motorcycle insurance may pay for your passenger’s medical cost, which is why Underinsured insurance is a must!

Can I save money if I cancel my policy while my bike is stored for the season?

If you store your bike, it’s always a good idea to maintain motorcycle insurance. Your policy includes mileage verification pricing spread over a 12-month-policy period that accounts for a reduced amount of miles riders typically spend on the road in cold climates while providing year-round coverage on warm winter days.

Can I save money on my policy if I have taken a safety course?

Yes! If you participated in a qualifying Motorcycle Safe Driving Program in the past 36 months, you could lower your motorcycle insurance cost with this discount.

If I'm involved in an accident, will my policy pay for a rental until my bike gets fixed?

Suppose you selected rental reimbursement as an option. In that case, the insurance provider will help reimburse you or, in some cases, pay the loaner directly for expenses such as a car or bike rental after a covered claim, up to the amount shown on your policy declarations. See your policy for a complete description of terms and limitations.
